   Outline the Online-

Setting safeguards as we surf the web.

Psalm 101:3 King James Version (KJV)

3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

Matthew 6:22-23

22 “Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light. 23 But when your eye is unhealthy, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is!

The Holy Scriptures are a light that gives us principles that help guide us throughout this dark world. The internet and television (even the ones that we talk on), has many benefits and brings with it many evils. The benefits we are greatly blessed by, the evils bring endangerment to our lives & those of our families if we are not careful. Hence the title of this writing is to outline the online.

To outline something can mean a line that marks the outer limits of an object or figure : BOUNDARY

In our homes concerning many things, especially the internet it is wise to have boundaries and limits as to what we will allow ourselves to view as well as our children.

Perhaps I can take a different time to write about the many benefits and blessings that we can find online, but in this writing I feel to take the time to give a word of cation for us all to consider & heed.

Pornography, the fleshly seductions, & satanic traps will all show up on the web. The web. A spiders web is a trap for small prey. So can the internet also be for us if we are not careful. Bringing a myriad of negative consequences eating from the very inside of our homes. There are many things in this world that appear to be innocent, but beneath is deadly spiritual poison.

We firstly need a heart that desires righteousness towards the Lord. It is also wise to have accountability & Internet filters.

As we are taught by scripture, through both the literal & spiritual words of Christ to watch what we allow before our eyes, I would also even argue our ears.
